Dr. Julia Fry grew up in Northwood, North Dakota – a small farming community in the Red River Valley region of North Dakota.
Dr. Julia Fry grew up in Northwood, a small farming community in the Red River Valley region of North Dakota. She attended North Dakota State University in the Animal and Range Science Program for her undergraduate studies.
In 2005, Dr. Fry applied for early admission to Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was accepted to the program. She completed her degree to become a doctor of veterinary medicine in 2010. She then completed a year-long internship in Cleveland, OH in an equine sports medicine practice.
Dr. Fry partnered with Dr. Matt Stahl in 2012 to start Iron Range Veterinary Clinic, LLC.
Dr Fry lives with her husband, Justin, and their three children (Calvin, Hadley, and Benjamin) near Crosby.
Dr. Fry has two rambunctious Giant Schnauzers, two reserved cats, various goats and sheep, and 13 chickens. She is a home body and loves spending time with her family and pets living actively in gorgeous northern Minnesota year-round.
